Love Agape Phileo

We talk about a plethora of issues, but some, are without substance. The materials you will read here are about issues that matter, which they are not often spoken about at a profound level.

When we are silent, something great unfolds in the deeper part our lives/faith.

Here, I will attempt to explore the areas of godly manners that may shine light on hidden perspectives that are often ignored.

Jesus: Grace

A lot of us can’t comprehend the depth of grace so well. If I am to be truly honest with myself, I can’t comprehend it completely; I must say, it is still still difficult for me.

We heard it all. If you’re a Korean who attended a Korean church, know that if or when you feel the emotional break-through, we would called that grace. Simply put, grace doesn’t just abound in that context only, but it is far more complicated and far more astounding than the just emotional.

I’m talking about the grace that is around you every time you walk those streets, every time you meet your friends, or every time you’ve received a profound revelation, holding it so dearly and becoming so virtual—that you cannot deny it.

I’m talking about the grace that keeps you moving, that keeps you repenting, that keeps you striving, that keeps you on your toes for Jesus, or that keeps you living for the sake of following Him because He is the person of truth that’ll set you so free.

I’m talking about the grace of God that leaves you breathless, in awe, astounded, amazed, peaceful, well rested, and much, much more.

And at the end of the day you can only say that His grace is truly sufficient.

Yeah. Grace. Period.

Jesus in flesh…

Jesus in flesh…

It is quite amazing and almost inconceivable to see the God of the universe chooses to come down in flesh to eat, sleep and walk with us; Jesus, who created the universe, this very air that he created, breathes in and out with glory. These concepts astound the depth and the core my soul, absolutely, moving in ways we cannot comprehend well enough, and yet, conceivable—with every revelation.

The center of the Father of God is Jesus, whom he sent down from heaven to earth, glory to nothing, to convey an everlasting gift of life that outshines and outlast all worldly and superficial materials. Jesus, representing all of God and all of love, epitomized the lifestyle we ought to live by. He is the power and authority that none can reckon with, however, can be lived by, righteously and passionately; because He is righteous and passionate.

His pursuit for us is a godly obsession. His pursuit is furious and almost mad, an extreme extent that no other religion portray or do. His love for us creates a door for relationship so that we may experience in forms of intimacy and passion; where his love for us strike our whole state of being physically, emotionally and mentally.

His eternal grace is unreal and yet tangible. His eternal grace is sufficient and yet it adds upon each other—exponentially; an infinite amount.

We only can see a glimpse, because if we see it whole, we will die by his glory.

Jesus: Compassionate ‘til the end

Jesus is pretty awesome. Denying this fact cannot be distinguished.

It’s coming to a year since my parents have switched ways. Ever since then, there were a lot of bitterness and an unforgiving heart. I have to say, there were a lot of unhealthy motivations to “prove” that they were wrong. Essentially, they are, but the methods of approaching them weren’t all that good either. Bad methods come from bad motivations even if the content may be for a good cause. However, nonetheless, the core of my heart was terrible. It was really the heart issue that I needed to deal with.

Just recently, through God’s grace, I received a revelation that freed me and helped me to realize a refreshing, powerful perspective that I knew prior to all this, but never knew the heart of it: a perspective called compassion. Compassion by definition is feeling sympathetic for someone or something. However, Jesus’ view of compassion was at a whole different level. Not only did he feel sympathetic towards people, he was also empathetic. Jesus, God in flesh, God in action, portrayed and conveyed compassion at levels unforeseen and unimaginable. Jesus’ compassion that breathes grace and power, transformed lives of people more than 2000 years ago and is even transforming lives today.

With all this, Jesus’ compassion brings me back to the scripture when he was in constant conflicts with the Pharisees. Though the Pharisees were one of his greatest adversaries, Jesus had compassion. It is amazing that he even did. Why? Had I been the God of the universe, I would have destroyed the Pharisees and put them in their place. But, he did not. He gave them a chance. He gave them complete compassion so that they will turn away from their wicked, religious ways to the truth; that truth being Jesus: the author of life, the epitome of love, the author of salvation, the everlasting grace, Jesus being patient, and much, much more.

Which leads me to these: If Jesus gave me compassion and grace, shouldn’t I give compassion to the people around me? If Jesus felt and initiated both sympathy and empathy towards me, shouldn’t I do the same? This revelation led me to have compassion towards my parents. It literally freed me from all bitterness and anxiety. How many of us are compassion to those who don’t understand? Our natural reaction would have been a condemned heart. What would it look if we had a compassionate heart, one full of grace and kindness? What methods would come forth by having this heart?

Spring Showers

One of the amazing things about spring showers are their spontaneity; the clouds will darkened while the sun slightly appears. These phenomena is quite rare.

Jesus Coming Back

A lot of people I know think that the second coming of Jesus is a scary thing; however, if you look at a point of view that the coming of Jesus is a hopeful thing, things just look that much different.

Here are my points:

  • We get to be with Jesus.
  • No more suffering.
  • Eternal Life
  • We get to meet with God.
  • We get to become princes and princesses.
  • We get to ask all sorts of questions like “why did you create this certain animal?”
  • No more anxiety.
  • No more cancer.
  • No more hunger.
  • No more diseases.
  • No more loneliness.
  • Eternal Peace.
  • Eternal Love.
  • Celebration.
  • Eternal Satisfaction.
  • New bodies.
  • Our own throne.
  • We get to hear awesome stories from Abraham to Moses to King David and so on.
  • Perfect and Righteous Love

I am liking this, don’t you?
